IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT MEASURING:
  • Always use a steel tape measure
  • Measure down to the eighth of an inch
  • Remember that inside mounts have deductions taken by the factory (approx. 1/4" to 1/2")
  • Measure Width in three places & use smallest Width
  • Measure Height in three places and use tallest Height
  • These type of shades have a large gap on sides do to the nature of how the are made with control end caps and clutch mechanisms
  • Width always comes first, then Height
  • Reverse Roll is when fabric feeds off the front of the roller
  • Railroading on Sheerweave can be done when shade width exceeds fabric width (the fabric is turned on end so you end up with a horizontal seam near the top of the shade)
  • Sheerwave shades have a metal rod sewn into a hem at bottom
  • continuous loop controls are standard - there is no option
  • Please review online installation instructions for a better idea of how Shades mount
  • neither type product comes with any valance
